Alexander wants to find out more about the monster-filled notebook. What does S.S.M.P. stand for? Why did he find the notebook? But first, he has more monsters to fight — there are night crawlers squirming all over town! It’s up to Alexander to save Stermont!

Alexander and his friends, Rip and Nikki, are members of the Super Secret Monster Patrol. Monsters called shadow smashers are everywhere — in mirrors, in class photos, and even on Rip! The S.S.M.P. will have to fight these strange shadows. But could one of Alexander’s friends be a monster? He is about to find out!

Alexander thinks there are monsters at school. The lunch menu is NOT normal – instead of good-for-you meals, there’s pie and ice cream every day. His whole class is crying. And his friend Rip goes missing. Alexander will have to battle meat-eating vegetables before the whole town becomes veggie dinner!

Alexander’s class is sleeping over at the Stermont Museum when the famous Ruby Scorpion gets stolen. Then Alexander sees the Bumpy Mummy walking the halls! His friends Rip and Nikki think he must be seeing things. But as a member of the S.S.M.P., Alexander knows ANYTHING is possible in Stermont!

This summer, Alexander, Rip, and Nikki are learning survival skills at Camp Gloamy. Canoeing and mapmaking are fun, but the woods are weird. The friends hear strange noises. Then it starts SNOWING! And there are snombies everywhere! Can the S.S.M.P. keep cool under pressure?

There are weird electrical problems all over Stermont — including at Alexander’s brand new elementary school! Lights are flashing, batteries are dying, and everyone keeps getting shocked. Could lightning bugs be causing these problems? The S.S.M.P. will have to turn out the lights on their most powerful monster yet!

Alexander’s class is going to an amusement park! At Safety Land, they get to ride the Slow-and-steady Teacups and the Barely-go-round. But there are weirdly snapped chains and ropes. And the roller coaster is shut down! Could the park be haunted? The S.S.M.P. is about to fight their spookiest monster yet!

Alexander keeps seeing monsters that he has ALREADY defeated! Rip and Nikki think he’s going crazy. And Dottie’s not sure what to think! Could there be zombie monsters on the loose? Or a monster that can turn into ANYTHING? Alexander has to find out what’s going on in Stermont!

Everything stinks! Alexander, Rip, and Nikki aren’t in the same class anymore. The monster notebook is missing. And a honking monster is SLIMING Stermont! Plus, actual smelly stuff is going missing all over town. Could these stinky things be connected? The S.S.M.P. will have to sniff out this monster!
