1. What is Scholastic StoryPlus?

This Scholastic StoryPlus app supports the teaching and learning of the English language through Scholastic stories and content by providing audio tracks from a variety of books and speakers.

2.  To listen to the audio tracks, do I need data/ internet/ Wi-Fi connection on my device?

Yes, you will need internet connection to listen to the tracks. For offline playback, add tracks to “My Playlist”. Please refer to question no. 3 to learn more.

3.  Can I listen to an audio track without data/ internet/ Wi-Fi connection?

Without internet connection, you will only be able to listen to the audio tracks that you have previously added in “My Playlist”.

4.  What is the difference between audio track streaming and adding it into “My Playlist”?

When you stream an audio track, you are able to instantly listen to it via your internet connection.

Adding it into “My Playlist” is an option for offline listening, especially if you plan to listen to the tracks at a later time when you have poor or no internet connection.

5.  How much data does it take to listen to an audio?

Each audio track varies in file size. If you’re streaming, we suggest having at least 150MB of bandwidth. If you’re adding tracks to “My Playlist“, it’s best to have at least 500MB of bandwidth available.

6.  How much storage space will an audio track take up on my device?

Each audio track varies in file size. If you stream a track online, it won’t take up any storage space. The tracks will take up device storage only when added to “My Playlist“. We recommend that you check and clear device storage space to add more audio tracks to “My Playlist”.

7.  Can I play the audio with another audio player?

No, all audio tracks in this Scholastic StoryPlus app can only be played within this app.

8. I can’t find a title/ audio track.

9. If I uninstall the Scholastic StoryPlus app, will the audio tracks in “My Playlist” still be accessible on my device?

No, they will be removed from your device.
